Class Capacity is 15 Youth

*Guardians must attend the workshop with their children*

Spend one day of Fall Break at the Gardens! Come join us for a block printing class where we will create symbolic stamps and patterned prints. Our art-making session is inspired by Spirit Guides: Fantastical Creatures, which comes to us from the Workshop of Jacobo and María Ángeles. These brightly colored and richly patterned sculptures depict imaginary hybrid animals that act as both spirit guides and astrological embodiments of human character. We will use potatoes and paper clips to create our own symbols and print them into designs on cardstock. This free workshop is designed for third through fifth graders with their adults.

Registration & Garden Admission are required, and we are capped at 15 youth participants.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

No refund will be issued less than 15 days prior to any Community Class. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds. No refunds will be issued for special events. We reserve the right to cancel Community Classes due to insufficient registration, garden closure, or inclement weather, in which case, participants will receive a full refund. People with disabilities should make requests for accommodation as early as possible to allow time to make appropriate arrangements.
