Curiosity Crew: Pumpkin Pillars

Curiosity Crew is a hands-on STEM class for children under the age of six! Each month we cover a science topic and complete an activity or art project associated with that concept. This month, we’re learning about gravity, weight, and how to construct a stable tower. After the lesson, kiddos will have a chance to build a tower that can support the weight of a small pumpkin.

Parents/caregivers must remain with their children for the duration of the program and are encouraged to help younger children with the activity.

This is a free event for ages 2-6. Registration is required and opens online Sept. 1.

All Omaha Public Library locations are wheelchair accessible. Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event? Please email Nancy Novotny at NNovotny@omahalibrary.org to request accommodation. Requests must be made at least five business days before the activity or event.
