Literacy Activities for Toddlers & Preschoolers

This class demonstrates how you can use the books you read in class to develop literacy activities to extend a child's learning. We explore the Learning Pathways in Literacy to give guidance in picking out books and creating activities that are developmentally appropriate. You'll leave the class with an introduction to creating your own literacy activities that meet the needs of the children in your care. This class focuses on toddlers and preschoolers. 2 STARS credits
